Sister Madeleine Mary Smith, RSMSister Madeleine Mary Smith, age 87, died Dec.10. In addition to her religious community, she is survived by her brothers, Kenneth Eugene and John Doyle, nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Sr. Mary Kateri RSM and Sr. Albertus Marie, O.P. Relatives and friends are invited to a Viewing Friday, Dec. 16, 6 :00-7:00 pm followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 7:00 pm in the Chapel at the Convent of Mercy, 515 Montgomery Avenue, Merion Station, PA 19066. Burial will be in the Community Cemetery on December 17 at 10:00 am.Contributions in Sister’s memory may be sent to the Sisters of Mercy Mid-Atlantic Community at the above address.
