Sonia Dow was born in Lebanon in 1946, the fourth child of Nassif and Leila Dow. After emigrating to the US in 1975 Sonia worked to support her family in their pizza shop for nearly 35 years. Sonia was devoted to her faith and enjoyed visiting all of the Catholic churches in the area. She was renowned for her collection of religious calendars, prayer cards, and relics which she was always happy to share. Sonia also enjoyed photography, especially taking candid shots at family functions. She is proceeded in death by her parents, older brother Joseph, and older sister Abla. Sonia is survived by her brothers Eli (Marie-Claude), Emil, Basem (Najwa) and her sister Ibtissam (Gaby) as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Relatives and Friends are invited to her Viewing, August 10th 9:30 AM – 10:45 AM followed by her Funeral Mass 11:00 AM ALL IN CHURCH at St. Sharbel Maronite Church 3679 Providence Rd, Newtown Square, PA 19073. Interment Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery.
