KEHLER
Stephen “Steve” R., age 75, passed away on March 7, 2025, of Glen Mills, PA.
Stephen was not just a man of success but of deep significance. His accomplishments were many, but what truly defined him was the way he lifted others up. Whether through his work, his friendships or his family, “Stevie” had an extraordinary gift for making people feel valued, understood and cherished He believed that the measure of a life was in the kindness we extend to others.
Starting as an employee and then owner of a service station located at West Chester Pike and Eagle Rd for over 40 years, it is a testament to him how many former employees became lifelong friends. Often advancing the careers of many through his love of mentoring Stevie’s compassion new no bounds! Along with his love for the Auto Industry, Stevie’s passion for flying resulted in his studying and receiving his pilot license. Along with breaking speeding records driving anyone of his many cars over the years, he also set illegal records while flying under the George Washington Bridge in his Piper Cherokee airplane.
Not satisfied with just being retired, he then worked for Pa Automotive Association (PAAT) continuing his love for mentoring young people, particularly in the automotive field, right up to his passing.
To his family, he was a pillar of strength – steadfast, generous and endlessly loving. He is predeceased by his parents, Harold C. Kehler and Gloria H. Wolfe, and his stepparents, Earl A. Wolfe and Elizabeth Kehler. He is survived by his siblings, Joyce M Kline (Richard F. Kline), Glenn A. Kehler-Ricci, and Richard S. Kehler (the late Karla Dolan), his nieces and nephews, Stephanie M.
