We were SO sorry to just today learn of Tommy’s passing! Martin, as our Pop called him was such a nice guy and was always fun to be around. He and our Pop were such great friends. I know he will be so greatly missed by all. Heaven will never be the same with Martin and Pop up there carrying on!! Prayers for healing and strength at this time♥️

Tom and I shared an apartment together, needless to say we did some really silly and stupid things. Tom was a frIend for 70 years and I truly will miss him. Love you Tommy

Tom, I enjoyed our working partnership with the SUP Program since 1995. I really enjoyed our teaching the many classes in Oklahoma City for the FAA with Harry Schaefer. The 3 of us ventured on to teach for JDA and some great travel. I really enjoyed our trips to Trinidad/Tobago. Yes Brother we had some great times and food where ever our paths took us. Harry and I know you're in Heaven and have opened a repair station for damaged Angle Wings and is working with Roger Heard. Rest Well Brother until we meet again. Sorry I could not make it to your service due to appointments but I will be there in Sprit. Kenny G.

Pop, you will be dearly missed by our family. I will personally miss seeing you in Ocean City, NJ with your beach chair, straw hat, and Hawaiian shirt. You had a knack for telling a great story while sipping a gin/tonic. I especially loved listening to your stories about growing up in Philly. I will also miss the wonderful parties that you and Donna hosted for everyone. Salute my friend—Alfonso

I may not be family, but Ma and Pop always made me feel like I was. I feel honored to have experienced the love and laughter (and also the endless amounts of delicious food) of this amazing family. The adoration Pop had for his family was palpable. You could see it in his twinkling eyes and his sweet sly smile. Perhaps the best example was Pop watching his “Toots” on her wedding day. He was beaming as bright as the bride. Although he will be missed dearly, I find comfort knowing he instilled his loving spirit in all those who were lucky enough to know him. And THAT will live forever.

Tom wasn't my uncle by family relation, but that's what I called him - "Uncle Tom". He was my Dad's best childhood friend and someone who cared for me as if I were his own daughter. I will miss his affection, love, humor and support. He also was a great supporter & friend to my husband ever since they first met. We are so grateful for him. I have had countless laughs & memories with Tom, Donna, Kristyn and Tommy over the years. Without Uncle Tom, I wouldn't have found my "sister" Kristyn. There are too many parallels in our spirits/souls for us to count. And, we have our Dads' friendship to thank for that. Rest in peace & love, Uncle Tom! Love, Rachael
Ben & Andrea Cedrone left a message on January 22, 2026:
I've known Tom for close to 75 years. My wife Andrea has known him for close to 60 years. We have always considered Tom to be a loving, loyal, generous and fun person. He's truly been more like family than a friend. Most people cannot claim to have had a lifelong relationship like the one we’ve been blessed with. Our loss may be great but it’s truly not total. Whether Tom’s around the corner, 1,000 miles away or simply not here he’ll remain with us always.
Sandy Lee left a message on January 22, 2026:
I was so blessed to know Mr. Martin as my best friend, Kristyn's "Pop." We spent time together as the result, the latest of which was just a few months ago. I adored hearing his stories, his humor and advice. Most of all I loved his love for Kristyn and his whole family and his cadre of besties. The world is quieter less jovial place without you, Tom. We will miss you but we will make sure to keep celebrating life as you would. - Sandy

Kristyn and I worked together and she remains one of my closet friends. I met her father on a visit to their home. I am honored that he took me for a spin in that Corvette! Happy times. Peace and blessings.

I met Tommie while at the FAA Academy. We taught in-doc courses together. Particularity the SUPS and the DAR courses. He was a great mentor and was always helpful to share his experience. He had extensive knowledge with various maintenance areas that he always had an answer to anything you might have an issue with. He was a funny guy once you got to know him. He will be missed!

I was so sorry to hear about Tom's passing. I worked with him for many years in the FAA designing and developing training materials for the Flight Standards Service. Tom was a tremendous asset to our team, always offering valuable input to make the training the very best. Those were the days when we were all learning how to use computers to capture our work. May Tom rest in peace.
