Vincent Proscino of Gradyville, PA, died on December 9, 2006. Vince was a mechanical engineer with Westinghouse from 1941 until his retirement in 1984, in the Gas Turbine Division. Hi, I'm Mary Jane's daughter and I wanted to let you know I was very sad to hear about your father. Although he was a part of our family for only a few years he made that time special in many ways. He was so kind to mom when she broke her hip and after she came home I enjoyed a wonderful Italian dinner with both of them which he brought for all of us. I also knew him from Westinghouse - as mom's friend, he was helpful in getting me hired. He was a wonderful person and our family was truly blessed to have known him. Please accept our sincere condolences.

To the Proscino "kids"...... I am writing on behalf of my mother, Adeline, and our entire family. Especially to Cheryl - I suppose you don't remember Nancy Dix's older sister, Helen, but I sure remember you! Beautiful and smart and fun! You and Nancy sure were good buddies in elementary school. I think you must know that she passed away in 1990. Anyway, I wanted to send my condolences on the death of your dad. I knew your mother better - and my mother just loved talking to her - and boy, she could talk! It was my loss that I didn't know your Dad - we were amazed to read his wonderful life story in the paper. Just know that you are all remembered fondly by the Dix family.
