William Charles Kuebler, a long time resident of Glenolden, died suddenly on May 19, 2005.<br><br>He was born on Sept. 13, 1941. Bill, as he was known to his friends, grew up in Allentown, PA, graduating from Allentown Central Catholic High School and attending Kings College in Wilkes Barre. After earning his B.S. in Chemistry, Bill got his Masters in Education at Villanova and went on to begin a distinguished career in the Philadelphia School District, first as a teacher at Bok Vocational School and then later as a Vice Principal at A. Philip Randolph Skills Center and Dobbins Tech. In June of 1962, Bill married his wife of 43 years, Jo Ann Dalesio, and a year later they began a family.<br><br>Bill "retired" from Dobbins in 1998 but continued to work part-time with the children there and additionally, and as a student teacher mentor at Temple University and Drexel University. Bill was known as a patient friend and devoted husband and father. He had a great love of music and baseball which were truly infectious as was his hearty laugh. He was also an avid bowler, and a member of Our Lady of Fatima Church and the Choir of St. Bernadette’s Church.<br><br>In addition to his wife, Bill is survived by his four children; Carl of Warren, NJ, Kathy Ellis of Lansdale, PA, Debbie Lindabery of West Chester, PA, William "Butch" Jr. of Glenolden, PA; his sister, Lorraine F. Kuebler and his thirteen grandchildren.
