William Ryan Jr. “Bill Bill”, 37, of Brookhaven, PA passed tragically in a motorcycle accident on Wednesday August 7, 2024. Bill was a loving son, brother, and father who enjoyed spending his time with his children and loved ones. Bill is predeceased by his brother, Christopher Ryan, and many other beloved family members. Survived by his adored children Billy (12) and Madison (8); his beloved parents Colleen Ryan (Keith Grantland), father, William Ryan, his sister, Jessica Ryan (David Noble), his stepsister Cassie Clark, his stepbrother Matthew Clark, his children’s mother and dear friend, Krissy Connell, and his many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Bill had a love of adventure, thrill for adrenaline and found his greatest tranquility being in nature whether it was hunting, fishing, riding, or just being outdoors. One of his deepest passions was riding his motorcycle and referred to it at his wind therapy.

Bill was an incredible father and lived for his children. Billy and Madison will never have to go a day without knowing how loved they were by their dad. He was always making sure to teach his kids the power of helping other people, teaching them respect, kindness, and compassion.

Bill was extremely proud of his recovery and to be a part of the AA community. He was just shy of 6 years sober and now he will have eternal sobriety. Bill carried a message of hope that any addict could have freedom from active addiction. He spent many hours of his free time in Kensington feeding the homeless and distributing collected donations to those struggling with addiction. Bill will be missed by many friends and sponsees in his AA family.

Bill was an organ donor and participated in the Gift of Life Donor Program. Through the compassionate decision to help others through donation, Bill was able to help save or enhance 50 lives.

Relatives and Friends are invited to his Viewing, Wednesday, August 14^th 3:00 PM – 4:45 PM followed by Prayer Service 5:00 PM followed his Memorial Service and Words of Remembrance 6:00 PM at the Danjolell-Barone Memorial Home of Wallingford 908 So. Providence Road, Wallingford, PA 19086. Inurnment Private.

Bill the the first memory was Krissy asking u out of No where. “Bill take Kristin on your bike”lol you had been busy that day so we planned for that Sunday on the ride we talked a lot mainly about Lris and I remember what you said so clearly. I had asked you a question They had to do with Kris & ur reply brought tears to my eyes bc Your response made it clear as day. And my love and respect blossomed For the both of you the beautiful characteristics & the even better thing about it is that you guys have passed them down to your beautiful babies.Bill you’re gonna be missed more than you know, I promise to standby Krissy, Maddie and Billy as long as I am breathing. Rest easy kid.

Colleen, my deepest condolences for you and your family. Bill Bill must have been some kind of special for God to want him for himself at such a young age. I haven’t seen him since he was young, wow what a good looking son! Praying for strength to get you through this difficult time. XO

I did not know Bill but I was there for him when he needed someone by his side. He will forever be apart of my heart and soul. I am so glad that I was there for him when he needed someone there. He was not alone before he was called home. God put me there with him for a reason. I did not think twice. I did what I was told to do by the one above. I wish I could have done more for him. I will continue to keep the family in my prayers and know I love you all. I am one of God’s Angel to. He kept me on this earth for a lot of reasons and I believe one of them was for this moment too. Keep your heads up and look to the sky as I know he is looking down right back at you.

Bill is greatly missed by many of us who have known him. He has made an impact on people who he had just met as evidenced by his compassion to help those around him. He spoke with an incredible amount of concern, sharpness and faith to his Higher Power that one could not help to be drawn to him and emulate the strong path that he was on. My heart is broken for his family and all those closest to his light.
