Michael Joseph Crowley

April 23, 1929 - January 1, 2010

Michael J. “Max” Crowley of Aston, PA, passed away on January 1, 2010. He was employed by Penn Land Printing Company in Yeadon as a typesetter, then worked for the U.S. Postal Service as a clerk in the Philadelphia Airport Facility. Max was a U.S. Army veteran. He was an avid Eagles, Phillies and Notre Dame fan. He volunteered for the Meals-On-Wheels called “Project Hope” at St. Joseph’s Church. Loving husband of Dorothy (nee Hunter). Devoted father of Robert (Nancy), Michael (Mary Ellen), Tom (Colleen) Crowley, Maureen (Bill) Nihill; also survived by his grandchildren Amanda, Jessica, Marissa and Liam. Son of the late Michael and Sara Crowley; brother of the late Mary Finnerty, Margaret White and John Crowley. Donations in Michael’s name can be made to DaVita Riddle Dialysis Center, Suite 106, Media, PA 19063 would be appreciated.
