Michael R. DiMenno Jr.

DIMENNOMichael R. DiMenno Jr., Age 77, of Glen Mills, PA, and formerly of Broomall and Overbrook, passed away on Monday, December 2, 2019. Born in Philadelphia on May 11, 1942, Mike was the precious son of the late Linda (nee Magliano) and Michael Rudy DiMenno, Sr.Surviving is his beloved wife of 55 years Marie (nee Martini) DiMenno; his loving children Michael A. DiMenno and Doreen “Reenie” Dellinger (Brian); his cherished grandchildren Nicholas, Matthew, Adam and Benjamin; his devoted sister Dolores Forgione and many adoring nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his loving sister Amelia Foote.Mike was a Master Carpenter with over 40 years of experience, including owning and operating his own business, Cameo Construction. During his time living in Overbrook, Mike was an active member of St. Callistus Parish and heavily involved in the Overbrook Athletic Association where he served as President of their baseball club for many years. Mike enjoyed spending time in nature and exploring the outdoors but the most important thing to him was family. Mike was very dedicated to his family, loved spending time together and enjoyed going on many adventures with his grandsons.Friends and family are invited to his Visitation on Saturday, December 14th, from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM, with the Funeral Service to follow 12:00 Noon, at The D’Anjolell Memorial Home of Broomall, 2811 West Chester Pike, Broomall, PA 19008.
