Nancy Russell

Nancy (Kimble) Russell 79, North Cape May On March 7th, 2013. Nancy succumbed to her injuries resulting from a fall while on vacation in Sarasota, Fla. Nancy will forever remembered as Gram to many neighborhood and family members for her teaching them to swim in her backyard pool. She was a graduate of Hahnemann Nursing School where she obtained her Registered Nursing Degree. She worked at Burdette Tomlin Hospital, South Cape Nursing Home before becoming the School Nurse for Lower Township Elementary School where she retired after many years of service. She was predeceased by her husband William, and is survived by her daughter, Susan Russell of North Cape May, her Son Steve Russell and his wife Jacqueline of Cape May Court House, two grandsons, Brett and his wife Amber of Middle Township, Craig of Philadelphia, and two Great Grandsons, Colin and Greyson of Middle Township. She is also survived by a first cousin, Martha Norbury of Millville, who she considered her sister. Also many loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to her gathering Sat March 23, 11am-12:45pm at the Light House Church located at 1248 US Rt9, Cape May Court House, NJ. Memorial Service will follow at 1pm . Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made in Nancy’s name to either the Kyle Russell-Callahan Memorial Scholarship Fund and sent to c/o Kimberly Callahan 2689 Penbrook Ln, State College PA 16801, or to the Gene Sole Scholarship Fund and sent to Sturdy Savings Bank, 701 Washington St., Cape May, NJ 08204.
