August 14, 1952 – February 1,2023
The sweet, loving, kind and gentle soul that he was, sadly passed away on February 1,2023 at his care facility in Stuart Florida. Given his Down Syndrome, he lived an astonishing 70 years! Gordon was Born during the summer while the family was at their summer house in Sea Isle City, Nj. Home to Gordon was also Broomall PA.
He attended Don Guenella for his schooling, and it was there that he became attached and dedicated to his Catholic faith. Gordon brought significant joy to all his family. He was the second son born to deceased Madelin (Sczerbicki) Giordano and Dr. Leonard F Giordano. Frank Giordano his older brother passed away in 1990. Gordon is survived by his sisters Carolynn Giordano, Christine Giordano Schoch and Lauren Giordano Gormley and brother-in-law, Gerard Gormley.
He was so proud to be “Uncle Gogo” to his seven nieces and nephews, Ashley Harvey, Loren Schoch, Kelsea Wiernicki, Kristopher Wiernicki, Gabrielle Gormley, Sara Schoch, Dylan Gormley and Quintin Gormley. Gordon also grew up surrounded by his 19 cousins and was adored by all! He greatly loved all his Aunts and Uncles and the time he spent with them laughing, dining and singing to Italian songs!
Sports were a passion for Gordon and being from the Philadelphia area he worshiped the Phillies, Eagles, Flyers, Seventy Sixers, and all things about wrestling!
Gordon was meticulous in every aspect of his life. he took great pride in his clothing selections and always looked incredibly handsome! Gordon will be truly missed for the twinkle in his eyes and the contagious smile on his face. He made the world a better place and now he will do so in heaven!
Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing Wednesday, Morning Feb. 15th 9:00 – 9:45 a.m. followed by his Funeral Mass 10:00 a.m. ALL IN CHURCH at St. Pius X Church 220 Laurence Rd. Broomall, PA 19008. Interment Saints Peter & Paul Cemetery.
