Frank Anthony Marcello age 81 of Aston, PA born in Malvern, PA passed away peacefully on May 21, 2023, surrounded by his family. Frank was a graduate of Eddystone High School and attended PMC.
Frank took after his father and worked as a stone mason for many years owning his own business. Work was his hobby, but he also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Frank Marcello (aka Dad and Poppy) was a beloved man, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, and a true friend to many. He could be stubborn at times (comes with the Italian territory) but he was one of the most hard-working, driven and thoughtful people. Frank worked at Boeing Vertol and in banking before finding his true passion and talent as a stone mason establishing Marcello Construction and producing quality, well done masonry jobs across Delaware County and beyond. He enjoyed the simple things in life including long car rides, dogs, a hoagie from Sam and Sam’s, watching old western movies and spending time with his family. Frank loved his wife Sally and mentioned stories of her often. He couldn’t wait to be reunited with her and all of the others he loved most up there so rest assured, he is at peace and free from suffering catching up on lost time with them, exactly where he would love to be!
Husband of the late Sally Marcello
Loving father of Terri (the late Mike) Lannon and Sue Marcello. Also survived by his cherished grandchildren Libby and Kate Lannon.
Son of the late Sabbia (nee Porreca) and Francisco Marcello.
Brother of Pauline Kelly and Anna Arner and his siblings who predeceased him Nick Marcello and Antoinette Bascelli.
Relatives and friends are invited to his gathering Wed May 31st 8:30- 9:45 AM at St. Joseph
Church 3255 Concord Rd. Aston. Funeral Mass 10 am
Interment St. Thomas the Apostle Cemetery.
Arrangements by Danjolell – Stigale Memorial Home of Aston
