Francis Grandizio “Frank”

Age 90 of Media, Pennsylvania passed away on November 29, 2025.

Frank was born in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania, to the late Genaro ” John” Grandizio and Angelina Grandizio (Casertano). Frank was a strong Catholic and a member of Saint Joseph’s Church in Aston, PA. He was a 1953 graduate of Upper Darby High School. He was employed by the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees of Philadelphia. (Local No. 8) until he retired. Frank enjoyed watching sports, especially college football and basketball. He also enjoyed his yearly family vacation on Long Beach Island, NJ. He was the husband of the late Adele Grandizio (Evans) and father of the late James Grandizio. He is survived by his children, William (Debra), Kathleen Bucciarelli (Frank), Frank Grandizio, John Grandizio (Theresa) and Adele Grandizio. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Relatives & Friends are invited to his viewing Wednesday Dec. 10th 9:00- 10:15 am at St. Joseph Church 3255 Concord Rd. Aston. His funeral mass will be at 10:30 am. Interment will be at SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.

Bill, Deb, Kathy, Frank, Frankie, John, Theresa, and Adele, I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your dad. He was such a sweet gentle man and a part of so many memories on Sherbrook Blvd. and E. 4th Street in Ship Bottom. We're so blessed to have such beautiful childhood memories. I had the pleasure of working with Frank for over 30 years in the glory days of the Forrest theatre. He was always a gentleman and a class act who would do anything for you. Rest in peace my friend.

I enjoyed working with frank for over 30 years we became good friends I always teased him because he always had to pee I won’t be able to attend service due to medical reasons RIP my friend
