Elizabeth M. Muavero, age 73, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2026. A lifelong resident of Southwest Philadelphia, Elizabeth was the daughter of the late Francis “Frank” and Margaret Muavero.
Elizabeth worked as a bookkeeper for many years. She was a dedicated employee at Piazza Honda for over a decade, a position she truly enjoyed.
She is survived by her loving cousins: Jojo (Ed), Verna, Joanne (Bob), Sam (Trisha), Sean (Sharon), Anthony (Lisa), Barbara (Albert), Maria, and Peter; her Aunt Rae; and her caring friend, Mary Foti.
Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral on Monday, January 19th, at St. Barnabas Church, 6300 Buist Ave in SW Philadelphia. A greeting will begin at 9:30 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM.
Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery.
