Doris May Hoffman, of Lower Chichester, passed away peacefully at home on August 11, 2026. She was born in Chester, Pennsylvania.

Doris worked for International Envelope in Exton before being forced into medical retirement in 2008. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and cherished great-grandchildren, and especially loved her quiet time watching General Hospital every day.

Doris was the beloved wife of the late William Charles Hoffman, Jr., and daughter of the late John and Thelma Hurst Kline.

In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her sisters, Mary Lockwood and Lillian Clark, as well as her brothers, Ed and Jack Kline.

She is survived by her loving children, Charles “Chuck” Hoffman (Melanie) and Patricia Cordeiro (Dennis); her grandchildren, Ashley Bowden (Ron), Matthew Lisinski, Devin and Damien Cordeiro; her cherished great-grandchildren; her sister, Lois Harasywim; as well as several nieces and nephews and many dear friends.

Doris will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services and interment will be private and held at a later date to be determined.
