Connie Faye Martin, 69, passed away on November 1, 2026. Originally from Asheville, North Carolina, Connie later made her home in Prospect Park, Pennsylvania.
Connie was funny, outgoing, and full of quirky personality. She loved live music and dancing, spending time with her family, and most of all, being a mother. She loved swimming, spending time at the beach, and being anywhere near the water. Her love of horses began in her younger years, when she had a horse of her own, and remained something special to her throughout her life.
Connie had a special gift for finding beauty and hidden treasures where others might overlook them. No matter what antique shop or thrift store she walked into, she was sure to find a treasure. She cherished her collection of angel figurines, adored her cat Frankie, and loved Christmas more than any other holiday. The magic, excitement, and spirit of the Christmas season always held a special place in her heart.
Above all, Connie’s family was an important part of her life. She leaves behind her daughters, Rachael Lynn Martin and Andrea Glenn Martin; her son, Alexander Mark Barone; her grandson, Cole Thomas Jones; her sisters, Ava Diane Englert and Emma Kathleen Morris; her brother, Clarence “Bud” Holcombe Jr.; and half-sister Dr. Kathy Robinson. She also leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Iva Glenn Holcombe and Clarence Holcombe.
Connie will be remembered through the music she loved, the dances she shared, the treasures she found, the holidays she cherished, and the memories she created with those around her. Her laughter, personality, and love for the little things in life will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
