Michael, age 81, on February 24, 2023, of Springfield, PA. formerly of Port Richmond and South Philadelphia.
Mike an Army veteran, was proud of his service in Korea and his 20-year career with the Philadelphia Police, where he was commended for heroism and Bravery. For more than 30 years, he enjoyed success as the proprietor of a used car business and as a real estate investor.
Predeceased by his parents Virginia and Frank Santivasci and his brother- in- law Bill Collins.
Survived by his wife of 57 years, Dolores M. (nee DiPietro). Also, his sons, Michael A. (Teresa), and David S. (Joanne), and his five grandchildren Kathryn, Marc, Nick, Zack, and Emma. Along with his sister, Anna Marie Collins.
Relatives & friends are invited to his viewing on Tuesday Evening, February 28th 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at The D’Anjolell Memorial Home of Broomall 2811 West Chester Pike, Broomall, PA 19008 and Wednesday morning, ALL IN CHURCH March 1st 9:30 AM – 10:15 AM followed by his Funeral Mass 10:30 AM St. Francis of Assisi Parish 136 Saxer Ave, Springfield, PA 19064. Interment Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery.
