Donato “Dan,” age 89, on July 21, 2025, of Clifton Heights, PA.

Dan was a member of the Classic Corvair Club. He was an avid coin collector and a member of the Delaware County Coin Club. Dan was the proprietor of the Variety Store in Lansdowne from the 1960s to 1975.

Predeceased by his parents, Sylvia (nee Chicchini) and Anthony Maggitti.

Survived by his wife of 48 years, Sandra (nee Scott) Maggitti, his children, Donato “Dan,” Donna Marie, Darlene Alberigo (Louis), Domenic, Cathy O’Neill (Sean), Stephen Secamiglio, and Matthew Secamiglio (Marge), his 11 grandchildren, his 13 great-grandchildren, and his brother, Tony (MaryJane).

Relatives & friends are invited to his Visitation Saturday, July 26th 10:30 AM – 11:45 AM followed by his Memorial Service 12 NOON in the Main Chapel at the DAnjolell Memorial Home of Broomall, 2811 West Chester Pike, Broomall, PA 19008.  Inurnment Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery.

I had the opportunity to meet Donato and his (now-late) wife Sandra (who was also my cousin). I enjoyed my time with them and am saddened to not have had opportunity to know them better.. I am only hearing of their passings in early March 2026, but I still wish to extend belated condolences to the family.
