BILOTTA
Ferdinand F. “Fred” age 96, on February 21,2025 at Riddle Village formerly of Newtown Square and Upper Darby.
Husband of the late Mary (nee Flanagan), brother of the late Philomena (Vincent) Pizzelli and Catherine (William) Cabana.
Fred is survived by his 5 children Margaret “Margie” (Frank) Finocchio, Frederick F., Frank (Elizabeth), Andrew F. (Anita) and Larry A. (Margaret) Bilotta. Also, his grandchildren Stephanie (Andrew), Jillian (Brandon), Michael (Fiancé Taylor), David (Maria), Matthew (Kelsey), Alexandra, Michele and Anita. Great-grandfather to Ella, Chase, George and Jameson.
Fred was an Army Veteran who served in the Koren War in Germany following WWII. Using the GI Bill, he attended Villanova University receiving a Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He obtained his Master’s from Drexel.
Fred worked for the Federal Government for 31 years. He greatly enjoyed family dinners on Sunday’s. He played the guitar, enjoyed golf, and made furniture for family and friends. He also served as President with the Upper Darby Little League.
Fred was also involved in his Catholic Faith at St. Laurence and St. Anastasia Parishes, was a Member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society and a regular at the Malvern Retreat House.
Relatives & Friends are invited to his Visitation on Thursday Feb.27,2025 from 9:30 AM – 10:15 AM followed by his Funeral Mass 10:30 AM ALL IN CHURCH at St. Anastasia Church Newtown Square Interment SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
