Janice A. (nee Piechocki) , age 76, on January 15, 2026 of West Chester PA (East Goshen, Chester County) formerly of Media, PA.

Janice grew up in Grand Rapids Michigan and graduated from Michigan State University in 1971. Janice also enjoyed many summers at their cottage at Big Whitefish Lake in Pierson MI.

Janice loved to travel the world, as evidenced by her two careers as a flight attendant. Flight attendant for ten years with TWA based in NY (International), Kansas City & St. Louis. Janice then retired from TWA and created a home design business, The Total Picture. Missing traveling Janice became a corporate flight attendant for another ten years flying for various corporations and celebrities.

Janice was an excellent skier and enjoyed trips to their home in Aspen. Janice also loved to dance ballet with regular classes with her friends in Media.

Janice loved animals including their 3 dogs (Sneakers, Brandy and Bundy) and most especially her blue & gold macaw parrot, Buddy who she loved and took care of for 35 years.

Predeceased by her parents Helen and Edward Piechocki.

Survived by her devoted husband of 45 years Kevin, her twin sister Janet Downey (Jim) of Boyton Beach FL plus her stepchildren Derek, Keri, and her Grandson Nate Scanlon.

Janice met Kevin 50 year ago during a TWA layover in Philadelphia when Kevin invited her to meet him for a Flyers NHL hockey game. They then dated for several years when Kevin was traveling in Europe and she could fly with a TWA pass to cities like Paris, Milan, London and many weekends in Ireland.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass on Tuesday, Morning, January 20th ; 11:00 a.m. at Sts. Peter and Paul Church 1325 Boot Rd., West Chester, PA 19380.
