Joanne Palmer passed away peacefully on Nov. 21, 2025, of Lansdowne, PA.
Joanne was a woman whose heart was rooted in kindness and unwavering Catholic faith. She found her greatest joy in helping others, believing that the ability to give back was life’s most precious gift. She cared for people through love, laughter, and joy, and she made everyone around her feel seen, supported, and cherished.
A true family woman, Joanne’s definition of “family” extended far beyond blood. Everyone she met became someone she held close. Her love for Christmas reflected her giving spirit, making the season especially meaningful. At any moment, you could find Joanne singing, dancing, baking, or cooking, filling every space she entered with warmth and happiness.
To know Joanne was to be loved. Her presence was a gift, and her loss leaves a profound emptiness in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know her. She will be deeply and forever missed.
Joanne was preceded in death by her parents John Wiedman II and Dorothy (Conlin) Wiedman as well as her sister Rosemary (Wiedman) Neville.
She is survived by her husband Harold Palmer. Loving mother of John Cosgrove (Dawn Carango), Mary (William) Schreiber, Danniell (Victor) Arciniega and stepson Christopher Hipple (Veronica Roney). Also survived by her grandchildren Rita Parmer, John Roff, Megan Roff, Daniel Roff, Christopher Roff, Brandon Roff, Kimberly Bock, Brittany Makoid, Louis Schinchirimini, Nicholas Schinchirimini, Christopher Hipple, Mac Hipple and Damon Hipple.
