Michele Anne Carr “Minnie” (nee Dion)

Born 3/29/64 in Rochester, New Hampshire.

Went to be with the Lord on 12/13/25 at home peacefully in her sleep, in the presence of those who loved her. After a year long battle with cancer, where she fought courageously until the end, she is now at peace with the Lord. Even though our hearts are broken, we know that we will be together again, in the kingdom of heaven.

Michele graduated from The Art Institute of Philadelphia for interior design. Michele spent many of her recent years working in education as a Paraeducator which she poured her heart and soul into and enjoyed very much.

Michele loved being with her family. She looked forward to vacationing to Ocean City, NJ every summer with her children and some of her grandchildren. She found joy in a good book and loved listening to music and dancing. She was the glue that held our family together, with her unconditional love and support.

Michele Carr (Dion), wife of Robert Carr and was predeceased by her oldest daughter Michele Lomonaco (nee Wood) and father Arnold Dion.

Michele is survived by her 3 sons Patrick Dylan Green (Shonda), Dustin Michael Green (Kaitlin), William Joseph DelFera, Jr., youngest daughter Jessica Michele Lane (nee DelFera) (Ryan) and 12 very much loved and cherished grandchildren, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.

Michele is survived by her mother Grace Miller (James Arnold), her stepmother Charlene Williams-Dion (Arnold), her sister Tina Giblin (Del), her brother Arnold “Toy” Dion and sister Sarah Dion (Nathan).

She’ll be remembered as the steady heart of the family, whose love and encouragement shaped who we are today.

Relatives & friends are invited to her Viewing Friday, December 19^th, 9:45 AM – 11:45 AM followed by her Funeral Service 12 NOON in the Main Chapel at the DAnjolell-Barone Memorial Home of Wallingford, 908 S. Providence Rd., Wallingford, PA 19086. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Never forget the first time we met, she said what Sign are you? I said Airies, she said I thought so.. we were very similar n she saw that right away. she was Airies too, when ya know… Ya know.. We were Designers n worked together for years. She was there for all my kids births. Was love at first sight, lol, will miss you “Smelly”!!! Michele and I were childhood friends. She and her siblings Tina and Toy lived just up the street from me. Although I lost touch with her after I moved to Texas, we reconnected on Facebook and I was able to share a little of her life vicariously. The most impact Michele ever gad on me was that she took me to church with her once, to St Giles. I got the feeling she wasn’t a member or a regular in attendance there. It nay have been an isolated event for all I know…but she invited me to go to church one day and it changed my life. I am forever grateful. Rest in peace, my friend. ❤️

I can remember the day I saw you at Upper Darby High,I just knew I had to know alittle more.we dated for alittle while, but we was both young,I’m just glad we stay friends..My prays and condolences to all.. I will miss that smile as big as the moon

We worked many years together at Broomall Peds and stayed in touch then again thru FB. My thoughts and prayers are with your family , rest in peace my friend. ❤️
