Ronnie, to this day, you are the only person who has ever beaten me at Scrabble. (It might have been a LITTLE more fair if you had told me before we started that we were playing for blood!) Your presence is sorely missed. There is a big hole in our lives left by the absence of you and Suzanne. David hasn’t said a lot to me about it, but he is mourning your loss greatly. There is a profound sadness in him losing his only brother. On the other hand, we are both so ecstatic for you! You have escaped from the clutches of that wheelchair! What a thrill it must have been for you to be reunited with Suzanne and to have both of you completely whole again! You don’t need to worry needlessly about Rebecca and Ronald. You have raised immensely capable and resilient children. You can be proud of them. Rebecca handled everything just as Suzanne would have done and Ronald showed a strength that amazed us all. They have a family here who loves them and will be there when they need us. And you, my brother, did an amazing job providing for them when it was time for you to graduate from this life. Even your mom was fantastic. As devastated as she was, she finally admitted that she was happy that you no longer had to live through the ravages of MS and told David and me that she “wished she were stronger; she would take a hatchet and chop up that hated wheelchair”. Annette is coping with grace and doing what she can to be there when needed, and Bill is always at the ready to do what he can. Your friends and extended family are fantastic, but are pretty devastated by your unexpected departure. Gene is particularly saddened, as is Cathy. However, I absolutely know that we will all be reunited soon. To you, it will seem like a much shorter time than it will to us, but in the meantime, we will miss you and look forward to the day when we will all be free from the fetters and sorrows of this life. Know that I love you very much and am so happy that I married into your family! I am honored to be counted among the Nagel clan. Until we meet again at Jesus’s feet, I remain your “other sister”, Kim

Wishing Ron’s family and friends peace during this difficult time and beyond. I worked with Ron at Wells Fargo and Principal. He was always so genuine, kind and calm on every interaction I had with him. He took time out of his very busy schedule to send me e-mails of appreciation about members of my team and how much he valued them. He shared his immense knowledge and experience freely and without judgement. He was relied upon and trusted by so many. His gentle spirit will be remembered forever.

I wish to extend my most heartfelt sympathies to Ron’s family and want to thank you for sharing this very generous man with us as we are all truly blessed in knowing him. I have worked with Ron for well over ten years and considered him not only my mentor but my friend. He always had time (even as busy as he was), to take a question from me and provide his guidance and wisdom for even the most complex of documents (and there were many), his calming demeanor always provided the logic surrounding any problem that came up. He passed his knowledge and expertise on to everyone who reached out to him. The most recent highlight of our friendship was when he called me to tell me he was going to be a grandfather, the joy in his voice in sharing this news with me was an honor, all Ron spoke of awaiting his little arrival, that conversation continues to warm my heart to this day as this is a bond we both shared (being a grandmother myself), Ron could not wait to be a grandfather. The impromptu shares of photographs are precious to me. I want to also thank Ron’s family for allowing us this opportunity to place our words and thoughts of love and admiration here to share with you; my hope is they will provide some semblance of peace even for just a small fraction of time with a smile (and perhaps some tears)..We will all keep his memory close to our hearts and we will continue to miss him dearly and continue to honor all he has bestowed upon us. I will always miss you, Ron but I carry your words with me. Rest peacefully my friend, and know you are loved.. Kathy (kj ) Jund.

My deepest and most sincere sympathies to Ron's family. I truly hope you all are doing the best you can during this obviously difficult time. It's hard to articulate how much Ron meant to those of us who worked with him and how big of a hole his passing has left, both personally and professionally. His expertise and guidance was absolutely vital to our team, but more importantly, his patience, generosity, consistently even tone, and kindness were traits he always exhibited, regardless of the circumstances. I wish I had gotten to know him better, but what I do know is that he permanently left a mark on me and countless others. There aren't too many in the world like Ron, that's for certain. Godspeed, my friend! You'll be missed dearly!

Sincere condolences to the family. Wishing you peace during this time. I've worked with Ron since the Wells Fargo Wachovia acquisition. He was a kind and gentle soul and incredibly knowledgeable on a vast range of topics. We spent many hours on the phone together often after the standard work day to review and resolve whatever came our way. I was constantly amazed by his patience and willingness to listen to all sides of the issues. He will be greatly missed by our team.

Please accept my deepest condolences. I worked with Ron for my entire career with the Company (Wachovia, Wells Fargo and now Principal). He was the most kind and considerate person you could meet. He was always there to pitch in and offer advice or assist a team member when asked. He was a devoted father and husband who would light up whenever he talked about his family. He will be sorely missed by all.

I was so very sorry to hear of Ron's passing. I worked with Ron for many years at Wells Fargo and he was a long-time participant in my football pool and he was pretty stoked to have won 1st place last season. We used to talk about trips to Italy all the time. What a great guy. He will be missed. Peace to his family.

I am so, so sorry for your loss and I want to send my sincerest condolences to Ron's family and friends. I worked with Ron and he was not only a wonderful person, but a wealth of knowledge, a well admired, respected foundation/guidepost for us. He was always patient, kind and understanding, often "holding our hands" through difficult situations, and never failed to make time for each and every one of us - whether he was busy or not. He will continue to be interwoven in the majority of our day-to-day, and he will be greatly missed.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

My sincerest condolences to Ron's family. I have worked with Ron for 18 years and have never met with a more nicer man. His intelligence, kindness, temperament was unmatched. I also enjoyed our personal talks on sports whether it was football, baseball, basketball or hockey. Ron was a truly remarkable person that I respected immensely and will miss dearly both professionally and personally. RIP my friend.

Words are not adequate enough to express the sorrow of Ron's passing. Ron was a truly expectational person, never one to share any of his struggles with you, but the first person to make sure that you were alright and had everything needed personally and professionally. Ron was my go to person for the past 20 years, I always requested to work with Ron because he was simply the best. I admired his ability to manage way too many projects at a time and never express frustration with his work load or what he was being asked to solve. He loved his family and always spoke so lovely of all of them. When his daughter got married, had a baby, Ron was so over the moon happy and in love. His dedication to his wife and the care for Ronald was always front of mind. God must have needed another Angel beside him when he took Ron, because he was the best angel possible here on earth. Thank you Ron for always taking such great care of me an for being a light to all of us when we needed it the most. You are deeply missed and loved by all!
