Ruth E. Swartz, age 95, of Upper Darby, PA. Passed away May 2, 2023 at her home. Ruth worked as a manager of the children’s department at Strawbridge & Clothier.

Ruth is pre-deceased by her husband; the late Lawrence W. Swartz, Sr., parents; the late George and Josephine (nee Stiles) Passmore, sister; the late Lillian Rice, son-in-law; the late Harry Daniels.

Survived by her loving children; Lawrence W Swartz, Jr., Brenda Lee Daniels, Steven G. (Kathleen) Swartz, her sister; Doris Wandling, brother; George (Laura) Passmore, sister-in-law; Audrey (LeRoy) Goldberg, grandchildren, Jennifer, Scott, Laurel, Krista, James, Steven, and Kimberly. Also survived by eight great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may attend a viewing Monday, May 8, 2023, 9:30 AM – 10:45 AM at the D’anjolell Memorial Home of Broomall, 2811, West Chester Pike, Broomall, PA 19008.
