Elizabeth Lillian Perretta

Elizabeth Lillian “Lil” (nee Bateson), age 91, on October 21, 2014, formerly of Drexel Hill, PA and New Port Richy, FL. Lil was born in Bolton, England on March 15, 1923. She was a child dancer with a group call the Dinky Dots. Lil performed on stage from the age of 8-13. She was in the English Royal Airforce during WWII. She was very involved in crafting, making wedding candles and homemade chocolate candy. In her senior years she performed with a senior dance group called the Dansations, performing in the Delaware County Area.

She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Perretta and her son, David “Warren” Weber.

She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her daughter; Elaine Park (Ron), Arleen Perretta (Thomas Hauck), Elaine Carroll (the late Elwood), her son, Joseph Perretta (Jean), 10 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and her sister, Mary Gorski (Jan).

Relatives and friends are invited to a Celebration of Her Life on Thursday, Oct. 30, ;8:30-10:15 AM at the D’Anjolell Memorial Home of Broomall, 2811 West Chester Pike, Broomall, PA 19008. Funeral Mass to folow at 11 AM St. Bernadette Church. Inurnment SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers contributions to Our Lady’s Multi Care Center, 1100 Clematis Ave. Pleasantville, NJ 08232 would be appreciated.
