We have so many memories of the feasts at the Ferguson house. No one prepared a better meal than Adeline. Bobbie-Lou often copied some of her recipes, I commented once on the size of Adeline's string beans compared to the canned ones I had at home. Adeline and Bobbie-Lou were such good friends. Bobbie-Lou would pick up Adeline and they would go shopping together; not that they needed anything but it was nice to do it together. With our condelence...

Lisa and Alfie, I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your mother. I greatly enjoyed knowing her and the rest of your family when I grew up at "number seven". She was always friendly, thoughtful and enthusiastic. A great friend to my mother, who talked about her often, when we would talk on the phone. When people discuss how often to launder sheets and towels, I love to tell them that I knew a wonderful lady who washed her family's bath towels after every single use. I still remember her father installing a set of pull-down stairs from our second-floor hallway into the attic. He spend all day making it fit perfectly. And your father, who had the longest commute to work ever - because he valued his family so highly. And who punched a hole in the ceiling when something (what?) happened in a Flyers (maybe Eagles?) game. Those were great days, and I am so much the better for the privilege of knowing your family. Best regards, John Cooper
