Oh my. What can I say? This is such a shock. I am at a loss for words. I am so very sorry to hear about this. I have some really great memories with your dad when I used to come over to the house. He was a warm and very generous man. Always there to help you when he could. He will be missed very much.

I will always remember Pop Finelli as the honorary "Pop Pop" of the neighborhood. His door always open to anyone, and we kids employed that door and showed up incessantly, especially during the summer months. I remember him allowing us to raid the fridge for Mountain Dew, Sprite and freezer pops which he seemed to keep in the fridge at all time, especially for the kids. I'm sure that at times, we must have driven him nuts by showing up several times a day, but he never showed it. He always seemed genuinely happy to have us kids hanging around. I remember his favorite saying, which I can still hear him say : "Hit the bricks, get outta the water and go home" He would usually tell me this when it was time for me to go home and eat dinner. I was able to visit him a couple of months ago while Linda was there, and he was just as nice yet ornery as I remember him being. He was a very large part of my life as I was growing up and I will miss him very much. My condolences to Linda, Ray and Steve everyone who was close to him. He will be sorely missed indeed.

Steve,Carol,Steven,Gina,Lynn,Linda and Ray, We are so sorry to hear about Al. He was always so full of life and always had something kind to say. He also was too funny and had some great jokes! We always loved having Al call the house or seeing "Aunt Sara" because it brought an automatic smile to her face. (He sang to her all the time too). Now they will be hanging out together with lots of reminising to do. He will be missed by everyone. The Allman's
