Alberto “Antonio” Romeo

Alberto “Antonio,” age 88, on December 13, 2023, of Broomall, PA.

Alberto was born in Sicily, Italy, and immigrated to American in 1964. He married the love of his life, Olga, in 1966. They lived in Overbrook Park and raised three daughters and made many life-long best friends. They moved to Lawrence Park Broomall in 2002. Antonio worked in University City as a barber on 38^th and Walnut Street. Antonio retired as a barber in 2016 and spent his days caring for his three grandchildren. He loved going to their games, making homemade wine, and drinking it.

Predeceased by his parents, Maria and Santo Romeo, his brother, Salvatore Romeo.

Survived by his wife of 57 years, Olga (nee Spadaro) Romeo, his daughters, Silvana Romeo-Burke (James), Sandra Romeo-Duckworth (James), and Loreta Romeo-Monaghan (Michael), his grandchildren, Alexandra, James, Ryan, and Michael, and his siblings, Gianni Romeo, and Maria Caliri.

Relatives & friends are invited to his Viewing Tuesday, December 19^th 9:00 AM – 9:45 AM followed by his Funeral Mass 10:00 AM ALL IN CHURCH at St. Pius X Church 220 Lawrence Rd, Broomall, PA 19008.  Entombment Saints Peter and Paul Mausoleum.
