GIANNANTONIO
With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Aldo Giannantonio on Thursday, September 28, surrounded by his beloved family. He was sixty-nine. Born to Marie and John Giannantonio, Aldo was born in Abruzzo, Italy and grew up in Overbrook, Pennsylvania. Aldo met and married his soul mate Sally (nee Walker) Giannantonio and had three sons, Christian (Mary), Justin, and Dante. Predeceased by his parents, Marie (nee Franceschini) and John Giannantonio, and his brothers, Anthony, Mario, Bruno, and John.
He was an extremely dedicated and loving husband, father, uncle, and friend. Aldo’s compassion was boundless, his adoration for plants endless, his sense of humor was infectious, and oh did he love a gin and tonic or spritzer and fava beans, good olive oil, salt and pepper, and rustic Italian bread. His absence leaves a void that can never be filled, but his spirit lives on.
As we mourn Aldo’s loss, we find comfort in the wealth of beautiful memories he left behind. Rest in peace, Aldo Giannantonio. You will be deeply missed but your legacy endures.
Relatives & friends are invited to D’Anjolell Memorial Home of Broomall 2811 West Chester Pike, Broomall, PA 19008 for his Viewing. Thursday, 10/5 at 9:30–10:45am followed by his Funeral Service at 11:00am.
