John Corrigan left a message on March 28, 2013:
Dear Cathy and Donna, I am very sorry for your loss. Please accept my sincere condolences to you and your families. Your Dad and Mom will always be remembered with love and affection. I admire them, respect them and think of them fondly. Please thank your daughters for sharing their touching tributes to your parents. It is quite special to be included in those loving memories. My fondest memory of your Mom was receiving a birthday card each year as a kid with her immaculate penmanship “Love, Uncle Alfred and Aunt Catherine” and the face of Abraham Lincoln peeking out from the five dollar bill inside. My fondest memory of your Dad was the quiz game on the stairs at Grandpop and Grandmom’s house. I remember some math based questions to advance up the stairs, and your Dad was always chewing gum. I bought a pack of Extra gum today in his honor; I got spearmint, although I am pretty sure I remember his taste leaned to peppermint or cool mint. I hope you find comfort in the many loving memories you have of your wonderful parents. Sincerely, John Corrigan
