Although Allen and I were first cousins, I always thought of him as my big brother. So many memories through years that were filled with big family get-togethers and laughter. Phyllis, Philip, Kathy and families, my prayers are with you as you navigate life without this wonderful guy. Love, Mary.

Allen was truly one of a kind; funny, thoughtful, and full of heart. His humor brightened my day, and I always looked forward to calling the office just to hear his voice and share a laugh. His kindness touched everyone around him, and his presence brought joy and warmth wherever he went. He will be deeply missed.

I got to know Alan and Phyllis when I met Phillip on the junior high school bus. They had just moved to the area. Phil and I struck up a fast friendship, and Alan and Phyllis became my second parents. Not a day passed if I was talking with them that they weren't called Mom and Dad. Even in later years, if I stopped by the office, it was always 'How are ya, Son?' Taken partially in jest, of course, but that was Alan. I'm devastated by this loss for Phyllis and the entire Rogers family. The world is a little less mirthful, but his laughter will never be silenced. Rest well, Alan.

It is difficult to accept the fact that Allen is no longer with us. I will miss his good nature ,,his professionalism, friendship and the only donuts I have ever eaten that didn't give me indigestion. May the family find solace in the knowledge that Allen is with our Lord and that he touched so many lives in his 83 years on earth.
Susan Follo left a message on October 6, 2025:
Allen, you will be missed. Thank you for all the crumb cakes, pastries, scones and especially the jelly donuts you always told me to quickly get for myself before it was gone. Your visits to our office were always a pleasure. R.I.P. my friend.

Classmates in Grade School and High School. Good guy, funny and smart. Lots of great memories. Bowling team, car club, model railroad. We did a lot. So sorry to see him pass. Haven't been in touch for some time, but think of him often enough. Best wishes for his family and his friends.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

My wife and I go back 52 years with Allen. What started out as a professional relationship with the pastry man coming to our door increased to a lasting friendship. Allen and I loved to share jokes and we often shared a few especially at the Christmas parties. I loved his personality and always felt that he and Philip were doing the correct things for our little money even during the more difficult economy times. We signed a lot of different papers during his tenure. He and Philip always put us with the Sisters at the Christmas affairs so I would behave. We will miss you. Allen. Paris and Joan ,,,

My heartfelt condolences to the Rogers family! Allen and I were classmates at West Catholic HS. I ran into Allen a couple of times when he visited Ocean Pines in MD where I live. I never knew of his interest in railroads as I did work for carriers like the B&O, MK&T, and CN&W. Allen, may you rest in peace, and, hopefully we will be able to catch up in the not too distant future. Save me a tee-time!
