PANTONI
Amedio “Pancho” S., Jr., age 93, on January 31, 2026, of Lawrenceville, NJ.
Born to Amedio and Angelina (Rutch) Pantoni at Coaldale Hospital in Coaldale, PA. He went to Summit Hill High school and graduated in 1950 with honors. He served in the US Army and was a military police officer (MP). He worked for years for the Philadelphia Inquirer, managed all publications, and took night classes at Lasalle College for Accounting later becoming a certified public accountant. He was in the band the Melody Lads in High school and was in the Philadelphia mummers both playing an accordion. He later played with a number of Irish bands in Philadelphia and traveled to many events to play.
Predeceased by his wife, Rosemary (nee D’Alessandro) Pantoni, and his parents, Angelina (nee Rutch) Amedio S. Pantoni, Sr. and his siblings, Richard, Samuel, and Constance Kistler.
Survived by his children, Robert D’Alessandro (Deborah), Joseph D’Alessandro (Theresa Hornung), and Linda Curto (the late James), his nine grandchildren, and his 10 great-grandchildren, his brother, Anthony Pantoni, Sr. (the late Josphine), his niece and nephews, Anthony Pantoni Jr, Angela Pantoni, Clancy Kistler and Samuel Pantoni Jr., his great nieces and nephew, Marjorie Pantoni, Madeline Gustafson, Brittany Pantoni, Zachary Pantoni, and his sister-in-law, Nancy Pantoni.
Relatives & friends are invited to his Viewing Monday, February 9th, 11:00 AM – 11:45 AM followed by his Funeral Service 12 NOON in the Main Chapel at the DAnjolell Memorial Home of Broomall, 2811 West Chester Pike, Broomall, PA 19008. Interment Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery.
