Angel Attanasio, of Margate, New Jersey, formerly of Havertown, Pennsylvania, passed away suddenly on May 8, 2025, at the age of 66.

Born in Philadelphia on January 1, 1959, Angel was a graduate of Haverford High School and went on to attend Temple University School of Dental Hygiene. She was deeply passionate about her profession and loved sharing her knowledge and enthusiasm with her patients, friends, and family. For the past seven years, she proudly served the community as a hygienist at By The Sea Dentistry.

Angel moved to Margate about 40 years ago and quickly became an active and beloved member of the community. She was involved with both the Margate City Community Group and the Democratic Club, where she was known for her warm spirit and tireless dedication.

She found great joy in traveling and spending time with her loved ones—whether it was a shopping trip, a shared meal, or simply good conversation. Her kindness, laughter, and loyalty touched the lives of all who knew her.

Angel was predeceased by her parents, Marilu and Edward Attanasio. She is survived by her sister, Luisa Robbins, and brother-in-law, Daniel Robbins, as well as many dear friends and extended family members who will miss her deeply.

Relatives & friends are invited to her Visitation Tuesday, June 3^rd 9:30 AM – 10:45 AM followed by her Memorial Service 11:00 AM in the Main Chapel at the DAnjolell Memorial Home of Broomall, 2811 West Chester Pike, Broomall, PA 19008. Inurnment Private.

I extend heartfelt condolences to Angel's family and friends. She was a beautiful soul, and an angel by name and nature. I am so fortunate to have known her. Rest in eternal peace.

It’s been many years since I’ve seen Angel in person but we kept in touch occasionally. Angel was a lovely person. She was full of life and enthusiasm and lots of fun. I remember her from Temple Dental Hygiene School. She was funny and generous. It is very sad she is gone because she was a bright light in the world and I never got a chance to learn how to make her famous pitzelles.

My heart goes out to Luisa. Angel’s passing was a shock to all her knew her. We go way back, as Angel was a classmate at HHS. Sooo many memories and happy fun years together. From HHS Italian Club, to our first trip to Italia in 1975, angel was always there with her beautiful smile. We spent high school and college summers in Margate , dancing the night away at Gables and Chez Paris . Later on, we worked side by side in Bamberger’s cosmetic department….another trip w/ our sisters to Acapulco and community theater. As avid Sinatra fans, went to see him together at the Spectrum. Sometimes all we did was laugh ! She was one of my dearest friends, and God took her home too soon…but I get comfort knowing she is in the presence of our Maker with all her loved ones gone before. She lived her life to the fullest, a beautiful life so well lived.

Angel was a fun , vibrant spirit of a friend . She loved dancing going out and eating enjoying girlfriend gatherings. She asked me lots of questions about my job being a Margate Realtor and I asked her about her experiences at her job , the beautiful stories we shared together she will be missed , I still can’t believe she is gone, we had plans to do things together . I and all her other TUDH classmates will miss Angel’s beautiful smile, passionate for life, and sense of humor. I will always keep her and her sister, Luisa, in my prays and for restful peace.

Angel was a Beautiful Soul. Fun loving & Always Smiling with something nice to say… She will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her…

I am shocked and deeply saddened to learn of Angel’s passing. I met her at By The Sea Dentistry and looked forward to getting my teeth cleaned by Angel. We had a great time talking about travel and the renovating she was doing at her Margate home. She loved talking about her parents, too. My condolences to her sister and By The Sea colleagues. She was such a bright light in this crazy world. I will miss her smiling face.

Angel was an incredible person. It was always so much fun hanging out with her. She was so well known and loved in the Margate area. She loved life and was the life of the party. I am so sad that her life was cut short. She had so much energy and had so much more to give. RIP my beautiful friend. For you are now truly an Angel. ❤️❤️

Angel was part of our Log Cabin Ladies Night group. In fact I think she coined the expression “Cabin Ladies”. She always brightened the room when she came in, and was always up for anything. She was so much fun. I will miss her so much!

I was so deeply saddened by the passing of Angel. From hygiene school, to work, to social events on the Island, it was always wonderful to see her smiling face. She will be missed by so many of us. To Luisa and your family and Angel's close friends, I wish you strength and hope you can feel the love of others to help you cope with the tragic loss of Angel.

The life of the party with a heart of gold and an Italian wit that would not quit. Dear Angel and family, know you are loved far beyond what you knew. Grief is the price we pay for real love! We grieve with you and you have a special place in our hearts eternally!

I've only know Angel about 3 years. I met her through the Ventnor women's walking group. I Sat next to her at my first lunch and she made me laugh so much, I know we'd be friends. She made me feel very comfortable. She'd always stop in the bakery with little gifts, special food she was making, her roasted red peppers, her pizzells. She'd stand up front waving to get my attention in the back, not letting anyone wait on her but me. I'd go up front no matter how busy because she was just so much fun to talk to. She was a highlight and made me smile I miss her already. Rest in Peace Angel.

Not a day goes by that I do not think about and deeply miss Angel. We met when my husband and I went to By the Sea Dentistry and she became our go to dental hygienist. In addition, she was a regular at the JCC in weekly spin and yoga classes. But more importantly she was a joy to be around especially at the Margate Democratic Club’s Halloween gathering last year and the annual Polar Bear plunge, which was also a birthday celebration. Angel always showed up in style, with humor and a warm embrace for all who knew her. These cherished memories will keep you in our hearts always, dear Angel.

I am so sorry to hear about Angel. All the memories at Uncle Vince’s , playing at Grasslyn park, she was always cheering someone up, because hide of losing a game ( kid stuff) I will always remember her that way. Again Louisa & Dan I am so extremely sorry for such a big loss . Prayers for you Rest in peace Angel ❣️

I am saddened to hear this, Margate lost a great person in the community! Angel was my dental hygienist when I was a child growing up in Margate. She was the absolute best! I loved running into her & catching up when out & about! I am so terribly sorry for her family’s loss
