STANIEC
Angela H, Staniec, 93, of Broomall, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2024. She was the beloved wife of the late John Michael Staniec and devoted mother to her two daughters, Linda (Joseph) and Suzanne (Edward).
Born on December 16, 1931, in West Philadelphia, Angela was the cherished daughter of the late Frank and Theresa Longo. She was predeceased by her dear brother, Joseph Longo, and dear sister, MaryAnn Mirra.
A proud matriarch, Angela was the heart of her family, who adored her warmth, kindness, and unconditional love. She took great pride in raising her daughters and found immense joy in welcoming her grandchildren: Katie-Lynn, David Jr. (Kelly), Kristie-Anne (David), Michael, Joseph, Jillian, and Kayla: as well as her great-grandchildren: Nolan, Madison, and Greyson.
Angela was a woman of many talents, most notably in the kitchen. Her authentic Italian cooking was the centerpiece of countless family gatherings where love, laughter, and her legendary meals brought everyone together. Her home was always a haven of comfort and joy, filled with the aroma of her culinary masterpieces.
Beyond her cooking, Angela had a deep love for music, dancing, singing, and politics-many discussions with much loved friend, Gracie. Her lively spirit and contagious energy brought happiness to all who knew her. Later in life, she channeled her creativity into a successful career in jewelry sales, forming lasting relationships with her customers and colleagues.
Faith was a cornerstone of Angela’s life. A devout Catholic, she was often found with her rosary in hand or praying with friends, drawing inspiration from Padre Pio. Angela believed deeply in the importance of helping others and took great pride in supporting charitable organizations, such as the Kids of St. Jude. Her testament was one of faith, hope, and love.
