Angelina “Angie” Nestore 95 of Glen Mills formerly of Newtown Square met God’s embrace peacefully at home on June 23rd. Angie lived a remarkable 95 years defined by her fierce strength, effortless elegance, love for her family, and devotion to the Catholic faith.
Angie was proud to be born from Italian immigrants and the youngest of six. She celebrated her heritage through travel, learning Italian, and a member of an Italian American club. Angie lived her faith through prayer, a weekly rosary club, choir, and various charitable and volunteer opportunities.
Angie was unapologetically herself; she would command a room with her impeccable style, strong wit, and smile. She approached life with class and conviction.
Angie spent the last 19 years in the Maris Grove community radiating warmth and kindness, as an active member who formed lasting bonds with residents and staff alike. Her chic style, compassion, and infectious spirit made her a beloved figure in the community. With joy, she participated in various activities and outings, savoring every moment, and capped her days with a Manhattan, delighting in dinner conversations with her friends. She was the cornerstone of her family and will be deeply missed.
Predeceased by her husband Michael Impriano and her husband Frank Nestore, her brothers Phillip (late Theresa) Lomonaco, Anthony (late Shirley) Lomonaco, Frank (late Nancy) Lomonaco, sisters Anna (late Nicholas) Melchiorre and Mary (late Tony) DiAugustino.
Survived by her children Michael A. (Carol) Impriano, Richard R. (Marsha) Impriano, her daughter Kathleen (Robert) Truitt, her step son Frank (Ingrid) Nestore, 11 Grandchildren; Michael (Lisa), Ricky (Tara), Bobby (Monica), Michael, Danielle, Theresa, Angela (Jon), Anna (Greg), Joey (Abby), Frank (Ava), Stephanie (Walt), and 18 great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation and Celebration of Life on Tuesday, June 30th 9:00 – 10:45 a.m. followed by Mass 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel in Maris Grove, 200 Maris Grove Way, Glen Mills, PA 19342. Inurnment Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
