TAMACCIO
Ann C. of Elverson and formerly of Honey Brook, passed away peacefully on July 19, 2024 surrounded by her loving family.
Ann was born on October 6, 1957 in Glenolden, a daughter of the late Francis and Margaret (nee McCullough) Ryan.
Ann was predeceased by her beloved husband Laurence “Larry” G. Sr., with whom we know she is lovingly reunited.
Her beautiful spirit will forever be cherished in the lives of her children: Larry G. Jr. (Betsy), Leigh Newman (Galen), Ana Tamaccio Ingles (Ben), and Andrew (Kelly). She was the cherished Mom-Mom of Emma, Ben, Lilly, Margaret, Josiah, Hattie, Jules, Josie and soon-to-be Baby Tamaccio; and the devoted sister of Tom, Franny, Dennis, and Maureen Sweney.
Ann graduated from Lankenau Hospital School of Nursing in 1978 and went on to have a fulfilling career as a registered nurse and nursing supervisor at Lankenau Hospital. Later, she became a school nurse and dedicated 18 rewarding years to Wilson High School before retiring in 2022. However, the role that brought her the most joy was being a loving “Mom-Mom” to her grandchildren. They were her world, and there was nothing she cherished more than spending time with them. In her free time, Ann loved diving into clever whodunnit mysteries through books, series, and movies.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing on Saturday Morning, July 27th, from 9:30-10:45a.m. followed by her Funeral Mass 11:00 a.m. all at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 2835 Manor Road, West Brandywine, PA 19320. Interment Private. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Twin Valley High School Mini-THON® 2025 through Four Diamonds.
