TRIOLO ANNE MARIE (nee FENGLER) 86, of Broomall, PA, passed away peacefully on January 29th, 2021 shortly after her youngest daughter’s daily visit. Anne Marie was born to Mary C. Morgan and Thomas Herman Fengler on February 13, 1934, making sure her first full day in this world was one celebrating love. Graduating from Mount Saint Joseph Academy in 1952, Anne Marie went on to receive her Bachelor of Arts in History from Chestnut Hill College in 1956. She continued to take classes throughout her life, including coursework in chemistry at the University of Pennsylvania where she met her doting husband, Rocco Triolo, who predeceased her by mere months. She is survived by her four children – Victoria (Steve Bennett), Michele (Dan) Fairbanks, Thomas (Jen) Triolo and Richard Triolo; her beloved grandchildren, Allison Bennett, Regina Fairbanks, Kailea Fairbanks, Thomas Jon “T.J.” Triolo, Cassie Triolo, Suzi Fairbanks (Brian Makein), Orion “Doc” Del Rosario and Sebastian Kitzan Malic, and her 4 great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her sisters, Felice Siddiqi and Vicki Segovia, and is survived by her many nieces and nephews. Her short but impressive professional career included work at the Girard Trust, Wyeth Laboratories, and Bryn Mawr College. Anne Marie led a charitable life, notably volunteering as a docent at the Rosenbach. Anne Marie enjoyed accompanying her husband Rocco on business trips abroad, where the two explored museums, opera houses, and restaurants. In addition to her admiration of the arts, Anne Marie herself was a spirited pianist and supernumerary in a local opera. When not at the piano, she could be found working on intricate needlepoints and enjoying dry martinis while curled up with a book. Anne Marie was a profoundly authentic woman and maintained a priceless, unwavering support for her husband Rocco’s research career. Her unique sense of self shined through her every action, from donning kitschy holiday sweaters to scorning “naked” cake. Anne Marie lived a long and active life, defying numerous illnesses. She will be immensely missed. The family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider donating to Sisters of Saint Joseph of Philadelphia or a Philadelphia charity of your choice. Please celebrate her life with a glass of champagne and some excellent chocolates.Anne Marie and Rocco Triolo’s joint Life Celebration will be held on Sunday, July 18th in the Philadelphia area.
