Anna Barnes (nee Santomieri), 64, of Aldan, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at home on September 8, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on January 15, 1962, in West Philadelphia and raised in Sharon Hill, Pennsylvania, Anna was the daughter of Anna and Rocco Santomieri. In 1994, she met the love of her life, Christopher Barnes, whom she affectionately called “Honeylove.” They married on November 27, 1999, and shared nearly 27 wonderful years of marriage and 32 years together.

Anna was a proud Catholic whose loving spirit touched everyone she encountered. Caring for others and giving back came naturally to her. She had a heart for people and animals alike, and she loved everyone she met, whether they had two legs or four. Her kindness, compassion and generosity were a reflection of the beautiful person she was.

Anna also found joy in spending time at the beach and vacationing in Disney World. The family often drove to Disney, making the car rides some of their favorite memories together.

Her favorite roles of all were those of wife and mother. Her children were her pride and joy, until her grandchildren came along and quickly stole her heart. They gave her the beloved title of “Memom,” a name she wore proudly and cherished more than anything.

She is survived by her loving husband, Christopher Barnes; her children, Christopher Carlin, Gabrielle Carlin (Walter Snyder), Kristianna Barnes (Joseph Milano), Richard Barnes (Lauren Barnes), and Thomas Barnes; her grandchildren, Justin Vitola, Sophia Vitola, Penelope Facas, Spiro Facas and Natalie Milano; her sister, Bernadette Martino; her best friend, Angel Masters; and many nieces, nephews, and brothers- and sisters-in-law.

A visitation celebrating Anna’s life will be held on Monday, September 14, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. followed by her Life Celebration 1:00 p.m. at the D’Anjolell-Barone Memorial Home, located at 908 S Providence Rd, Wallingford, PA 19086. Inurnment is Private.
