Anna D’Amico

D’Amico.

Anna, age 91, on February 13, 2023 of Broomall, formerly of Drexel Hill, PA.  She was surrounded by family and friends when she peacefully went to rest with her parents in heaven.  Anna was born in Alfedena, Italy and immigrated to the United States at the age of 27. In Italy, Anna studied in Rome and became a professional midwife. Anna enjoyed flower gardening, baking wonderful cookies and strawberry shortcake, and reading about current events and health.  Anna read both the US and Italian magazines and newspapers on a daily basis.  She was a longtime seamstress at Darroff and Pincus Brothers.

Survived by her nieces Lucia (Jack) Tierney and Marta (Burt Thomas) Rosica, her great niece and nephew Marissa and Aiden, and her sister Carmela (late Joseph) Rosica.

Relatives & friends are invited to her viewing Sunday Afternoon Feb. 19^th;  4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at The D’Anjolell Memorial Home of Broomall 2811 West Chester Pike 19008. Funeral Mass Monday, Morning Feb. 20^th;  10:00 a.m. at St. Pius X Church 220 Lawrence Rd., Broomall, PA 19008. Interment SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
