Anne Marie Teta (née Kennedy) passed away peacefully on October 24, 2026, surrounded by loved ones.
Those fortunate enough to know Anne will remember her for her heart full of love, her unwavering strength in the face of adversity, and her unparalleled devotion to her family. She was a woman whose love knew no bounds, whose resilience inspired those around her, and whose presence made the lives of others immeasurably better.
To her children and grandchildren, Anne was more than a rock to lean on—she was a mountain. Steadfast and unshakable, she was a source of strength, comfort, and unconditional love through every challenge life presented. Whatever hardships came her way, Anne faced them with fierce determination, remarkable resilience, and the good humor that reflected her proud Irish-American heritage.
And Anne’s family extended far beyond those related to her by blood. To the countless people whose lives she touched, she offered that same steadfast love, loyalty, and generosity. She was always someone others could count on, quick to lend a hand, offer encouragement, or simply be there when she was needed. Her capacity to care for others was as extraordinary as the strength with which she lived her life.
Anne is survived by her sisters, Marie and Barbara, her brothers Michael and James; her children, Christopher, Jason, Jeremy (Samantha), James (Stephanie), Amanda, and Elizabeth; and her fifteen grandchildren, who will carry her love and legacy forward.
She was preceded in death by her sister Kathy, brother Jack, husband James, and her granddaughter Sydney.
