CELLUCCI
Anthony “Sagoo, Pockets, and Nag,” D., age 82, on July 19, 2026, of Fort Myers, FL, formerly of Overbrook and Broomall, PA.
Anthony was a proud and dedicated member of his community, giving his time and talents to numerous organizations throughout his life. Anthony served our country for 4 years as a gunners mate on the USS Picking where they were a presence during the Cuban Missle crisis. Anthony went to every USS Picking reunion around the country each year as well as hosting it in Philadelphia in 2013. He was a member of VFW Post #15040, the American Legion Post #805, and the Eastern Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters (EASRCC), formerly Local 8 Philadelphia Carpenters Union and Local 158. Anthony also held the distinguished honor of being a Fourth-Degree Knight of Columbus with the Cardinal Dougherty Assembly, a testament to his faith, patriotism, and commitment to serving others. In addition, he enjoyed his time as a starter and ranger at Paxon Hollow Golf and Country Club, where he played a lot of golf while forming many lasting friendships and took great pride in being part of the club community. Anthony will be remembered for his strong work ethic, unwavering dedication, and the meaningful impact he made on those fortunate enough to know him.
Predeceased by his parents, Lena (nee Piccone) and Mario Cellucci.
Survived by his wife of 62 years, Florence “Flossy” (nee De Korne) Cellucci, his three children, Angela Cellucci (Chris Silverio), Anthony, and Jeffrey (Laura), his grandchildren, Kelly (Ed), Ryan Evans (Megan), their father, Darrell, Justin and Avery Cellucci, and their mother, Cameron, his great-grandson, Oliver, and his siblings, Jeffrey (Anita), Marie Murdock (the late Gary), and Joann Bovera (Thomas).
Relatives & friends are invited to his Viewing Wednesday, July 29th 9:30 A.M. – 10:45 A.M. followed by his Funeral Mass 11:00 A.M. ALL IN CHURCH at St. Kevin’s Church 200 W. Sproul Rd., Springfield, PA 19064. Interment is Private.
