Dear Phyllis and Family, I heard of Woody's passing only a month ago. Had I known, I would have reached out sooner. My memory of Woody, from when I was a small child, is of a man who always was always happy and always had a smile on his face. He made time to have a conversation with me whenever we saw each other. He was part of a group of people that I loved so very much, including you, Phyllis. You were a beautiful couple inside and out. It is with my most sincere condolences that I write this message. I know what he, and all of you, endured for years. My love and prayers were with you then and are with you now. May his soul Rest In the Peace he so longed for.

Anthony and family,

We are so sorry to hear about the passing of Woody. He was a great guy and we will always remember the great days and fun times we had on Woodland Avenue. Although we know it's not easy try to remember all the good times you had and that he is at peace. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family. R.I.P Woody

I was so sorry to hear about Woody's passing. I have such great memories of growing up across the street from the Rapisardo family. My favorite is when Woody would come out and pitch wiffle ball to us kids. I knew if I could hit Woody's curveball I could hit anything. Wonderful memories of a great family. My heart goes out to you all.

The Godfreys are deeply saddened for all that your family has endured and even more devastated for Woody's passing. Calling him a friend does not even feel right. He was family, a constant and loyal man, witty and so much more. I have countless memories with Woody and the Rapisardos that are cherished. He used to call me Peanut as a little girl and had the opportunity to watch me become a mother. One fall afternoon Woody said to me, You have a beautiful family Dana. Little did I know those were his last words to me. I will never forget that moment and this is how he will eternally be remembered in my mind. Phyllis, Anthony, Christine, Phyllis, Linda, Nick, Kevin, and Grandkids, please know how much we loved your Father/Grandfather and wish we could physically mourn with you during this time. We love you all and are always here for you. With much love, Dana, Andrew, Judith, and Andrew Robert
