Anthony “Tony” Pace passed away peacefully on June 25, 2025, in Leesburg FL. Formerly of SW Phila. and South Phila. He served in the US Navy.
Anthony was born in Philadelphia serving the city as an Inspector in the Philadelphia Police Department. He followed that career as the Director of Security, Methodist Hospital. Lastly, Anthony served as Regional Director, Bureau of Narcotics Investigation, PA Office of Attorney General.
He enjoyed playing cards, talking politics and Words with Friends.
Son of the late Antonio & Marie Pace, father of the late Tony Pace, husband of the late Eileen Pace, brother of the late Frances Pace, Viola Haug Stigale.
Loving father of Paula (Michael) Pellegrino, Stephen (Linda) Pace, Thomas Pace.
Cherished grandfather of Amanda (Michael), Tony, Noelle (John), Nina (Daniel), Giavana, Joseph, Lola, Madison, Emma, Shayne (Alexandra), Chad (Danielle).
Great Grandfather of Elliot, Nathaniel, Paityn, Alyssa, Kasey.
Brother of Robert “Bob” (Loretta) Pace. Survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Tuesday July 15th, 9:00 – 9:45 am at Stella Maris Church, 2901 S. 10th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19148, with a Funeral Mass following at 10 am. Burial will follow at SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.
