Arlene Blumberg age 85 of Glen Mills, PA passed away peacefully on April 27,2026 at Bryn Mawr Hospital.

Born and raised in West Philadelphia, PA Arlene attended West Catholic High School and spent the past 25 years residing in Glen Mills. She was a parishioner at St. Thomas of the Apostle Parish having previously resided in Clifton Heights for 25 and was a parishioner of Holy Cross Parish in Springfield. Arlene enjoyed and loved the beach and casino, but above all her family, grandchildren, and friends.

Predeceased by her former husband, Leonard Blumberg, her granddaughter, Jessica, and beloved daughter of the late Lucy (nee Cedrone) and Angelo Morelli.

Survived by her children, Stephen O’Brien (Andrea), Susan Shrader (Louis Magazzu), and Kevin O’Brien (Carolyn), her grandchildren, Xander, Victoria, Elizabeth, David, Nicholas, and Marissa Caristo (Doug), her great-grandsons, Anthony and Colton, and her brother, Gerald Morelli (Barbara), her former husband, John O’Brien.

Relatives & friends are invited to her Funeral Mass 11:00 AM at Saint Thomas the Apostle Church, 430 Valleybrook Rd, Glen Mills, PA 19342. Inurnment Private.

Arlene was one of the nicest people that I was honored to know. I have wonderful memories of her when she and the rest of the family joined us at fourth and Bay in Ocean City for a few days.
