Barbara A. (nee Pizzo), 78, of Marple Twp., passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on September 7, 2026. She was a longtime resident of Marple Township for over 40 years, formerly of Havertown, PA. Barbara spent decades of summers at Beach Haven in LBI.

Daughter of the late Elida (nee Quintiliani) and Dominic Pizzo, and aunt of the late Glen H. Gilpin.

Survived by her beloved husband of 58 years, Daniel D.; her son David (Susan) Leefson; her daughter Danielle Marchese; her grandchildren Vincent (Michelle), Daniel (fiancée Gianna), Michael (fiancée Amanda), Ryan, Cassandra, and Jacquelyn; her great-granddaughter Mackenzie; her nephew Robert (Judith) Gilpin; and her great-niece and nephew Rebecca and Luke; Brother In-Law Richard (Martha) Leefson.

Barbara was the owner of Salon Imagery in Marple Township for many years, and a long-standing parishioner of St. Pius X Church. She was the greatest wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and she loved everyone she met. She was deeply devoted and unwavering in her faith and lived it fully each day.

Relatives & Friends are invited to her Visitation on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, from 9–10:15 AM at St. Pius X Church, 220 Lawrence Rd., Broomall. Funeral Mass 10:30 AM. Interment Private.
