August 29, 1944 – December 1, 2025
Barbara Beard, 81, a beloved mother, sister, friend, and grandmother passed away on December 1, 2025. Born on August 29, 1944, in Chester, PA, Barbara enjoyed working in the food industry. Her love for cooking began in her mother’s kitchen and blossomed into a successful career. She was legendary for her delicious homemade recipes such as Turkey Stuffing, Prime Rib and Gravy. Holiday gatherings were eagerly anticipated.
Barbara is survived by her children, Debra Scull (Ronald), Thom Beard, two grandchildren Brad Scull (Erin) and Ron Scull, twin brother Kenneth Lynch (Lois), David Lynch (Bobbie), and loving sister Linda Lynch. She was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Helen Lynch, a brother Joseph Lynch Jr. and a daughter Sharon Beard.
Barbara’s greatest joy came from spending time with her family which included trips to Hershey Park at Christmas, Central Park in the Spring, attending Broadway shows, Baseball games and Fishing with her grandsons.
Barbara recently learned that she was going to be a Great Grandmother and was completely over the moon with happiness and joy!
Barbara’s unwavering love and compassion for her family and friends live on in our hearts as we cherish all the beautiful memories.
A private celebration of life will be he held on December 4, 2025, from 9:30 am – 11:00 am at D’Anjolell-Stigale Funeral Home 3260 Concord Rd. in Aston, PA followed by internment at Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery in Springfield, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the local food bank.
