Barbara F. Ciarrocchi

Ciarrocchi, Barbara (Esch) — (10/7/26) Barbara Frances Veronica Ciarrocchi passed after a valiant battle with Alzheimer’s on the Feast Day of our Lady of the Rosary. Widow of the late-William; daughter of the late Kathryn and Louis; beloved mother of Guy (Chris), Gregg✝️ (Maria); Josh (Nicole) and her rescue Chihuahua, Tink. Doting MomMom to Alexandra, Louis & Anastasia; Taylor & Brandon; Ashley (Dan), Liana & Anthony; her great-grandchildren, Kaia and Naomi Grace and loved by relatives and countless friends.

Barbara was born in Philadelphia and graduated from St. Columba and John W. Hallahan High School. Prior to her marriage, she worked at Philco. They raised the boys in South Philadelphia in St. Monica Parish. After Bill’s passing at age 55, she returned to the workforce as a licensed realtor, and later as VIP tour director at the US Mint and The Constitution Center. After experiencing the losses of Bill, Gregg and her Mom, Barbara helped countless families as a certified grief counselor at Pennsylvania Hospital, and later at St. Charles Borromeo in South Jersey, where she lived with Josh & Nicole. During Covid, she moved to Paoli and joined Guy & Chris, becoming an active member at St. Norbert. Barbara enjoyed a lifetime of summers with her family in Ocean City, NJ. She was known for her unconditional love for her family; her compassion for those in need, her devout faith, and, her impeccable sense of style in her favorite winter white.

Visitation will take place on 10/12/2026 from 9:30-11:00 AM at St. Norbert Church, 50 Leopard Road, Paoli, PA 19301, with the Mass of Christian Burial following at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to PAWS (Phila Animal Welfare Society). https://phillypaws.org/
