I must begin by saying that I really miss my friend. I have lived on this street for the past 21 years. However, Barbara and I began a budding friendship over this past year and into 2025. I expressed to her and we both agreed that things are done in God's timing, not ours. Our friendship was formed as such. In the past several months we enjoyed our coffee and tea times in my home and lunch and visits in her home with myself and my little dog Logan whom she really enjoyed playing with. We had great times sitting out on my deck in nice weather with her enjoying her Orange Spice tea that she grew to love. Our breakfast and lunches out of the home will never be forgotten and the Christmas dinner in my home with my family members and Barbara and Patrick with our family pictures, the lively conversations and laughter will never be forgotten. I will miss the sparkle in her eyes and the great telephone conversations we had from time to time when I asked her to come over instead of talking on the phone. I had Barbara as MY FRIEND for 6 months. The best 6 months I could have asked for from a wonderful and caring person who I know in my heart cared for me as much as I cared for her and her family. I am truly heartbroken but I am so thankful for the quality time that I had with her. I thank God for the time He gave me with Barbara. She will always be in my heart and never forgotten. I will always cherish her memory.❤️

Barbara has been my neighbor for about 15 years or so. In that time, I've only really gotten to know her well in the past 2 years. She invited me to lunch this past summer and I got to know her better. I think she may have been the kindest, sweetest, most open, and giving person I have ever met! Barbara and I shared a profession-nursing. I am completing a Nurse Practitioner program and Barbara volunteered to be my "patient" for an assignment. She was so helpful. She even gave me her old Nurse Practitoner medical bag with the tools we use for home visits. I told her that her "old" bag, was now my "new" favorite bag that I will cherish as an NP. She was very supportive and offered to help me in any way she could. We have amazing neighbors, and she will be one that is sorely missed! Love and Condolences to the family, Nancy
