ANDREOZZI
Bernadine “Bernie” E. (nee Valentino), age 92, on April 6, 2025, of Drexel Hill, PA.
Bernie grew up in Havertown where she had lots of adventures with her siblings. She and Joe married at the age of 19 and went on to have five children. Bernie was an avid baseball fan. She loved her Philadelphia sports teams, especially the Phillies and Eagles. She enjoyed family dinners. She was a great cook, especially known for her Sunday gravy. Bernie was a longtime member of the choir and a Eucharistic minister at St. Bernadette of Lourdes Catholic Church in Drexel Hill. Bernie had a big personality; her smile filled any room she was in. She always made people feel welcome. Bernie was an amazing individual to all who knew her, especially her family. Bernie and Joe were proudly married for 62 years. Son Carl was Bernie’s primary caregiver in her latter years, taking care of Bernie at home. His siblings will be forever grateful. Throughout her life, Bernie set a kind example. She gave love and received love. Hers was a life very well lived.
