Biagio “Benny” Rantuccio, age 84, passed away peacefully while surrounded by his family on November 19, 2022.
Born in Philadelphia, PA on February 2, 1938, Benny was the son of the late Joseph and Bessie Rantuccio and brother of the late Joseph Rantuccio and Rose Capozzoli. Mr. Rantuccio served his country as a member of the Army National Guard and spent his career serving his community as a Philadelphia Police Officer from 1962 until his retirement in 1990.
Benny is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Joann Rantuccio (Guarnere) and his children, Blase Rantuccio (Deborah) and Joann McEnhill (James). He is also survived by his four grandchildren, Jordan Schonewolf (Jesse), Nicholas Rantuccio (Erin), James McEnhill and Matthew Rantuccio, and two great-grandchildren, Talon and Asher.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at 9:30am – 10:45am followed by a funeral Mass at 11:00am at Church of the Incarnation, 240 Main Street, Mantua, NJ 08051. Interment will be held privately.
